Bookings made through Booking.com, Agoda, Airbnb, Expedia, or any other travel site do not earn points — Soulasia Rewards is a thank-you for booking directly with us. Cancelled stays, no-shows, and the tax / tourism fee portion of your bill also do not earn.

During checkout on a future direct booking, you will see an option to apply points as a discount. 100 points = MYR 1 off the cash price. The minimum redemption is 1,000 points (MYR 10), and you can stack points with cash up to the full booking value.

Sign in to your Soulasia account and click "My Rewards" in the top menu. You will see your current balance, tier, recent activity, expiry timeline, and what you need to reach the next tier.

There are three tiers — Silver (default), Gold, and Platinum. Reach Gold by completing 4 stays in a calendar year, or 30 stays lifetime (whichever comes first). Reach Platinum at 9 stays in a year, or 60 lifetime. Annual progress resets on January 1, but lifetime tier — once earned — stays with you forever, even if you take a year off.

Points expire after 24 months of no account activity. Any earning, redemption, or completed stay resets the 24-month clock for all your points. As long as you stay with us at least once every two years, your balance is safe.

If you cancel within the free-cancellation window of your booking, points you redeemed are returned to your balance, and any points already credited from earlier portions of the booking are reversed. If you cancel outside the free-cancellation window, redeemed points stay used, the same way the cash portion follows your booking's cancellation policy.

Any reservation completed on soulasia.com.my, including the booking page accessible from search results or property pages. Bookings placed by Soulasia staff on your behalf via phone or email also count, provided we use your account email. Anything booked through a third-party travel site does not count, even if the cash payment ends up on the same credit card.

Right now, points stay in the account that earned them. We are looking at extensions to the programme, including possible transfers, but we don't have a release date yet.

First, double-check that the stay was a direct booking (not via an OTA), and that 24 hours have passed since check-out. Confirm the room subtotal you expected to earn on (points are calculated before tax). If everything looks right and the points are still off, contact our team via the contact page with your reservation ID and we will investigate.

Yes. Sign up for a free Soulasia account at soulasia.com.my, and you are automatically enrolled in Rewards the first time you complete a direct booking while signed in.

We may adjust earn rates, tier thresholds, redemption rates, or expiry rules over time. If we make a change, we will announce it on this page and notify enrolled members by email. Earned points already in your account are not retroactively reduced.
